Mandarin Sky

We love to eat good Chinese food. And one of our early favorites was Wah Yuen Reastaurant in Banawe. It served hot filling dishes with very reasonable prices. Heavy on the tummy but easy on the money. Thus, we were saddened when it closed down months ago.

When Mandarin Sky opened right where Wah Yuen was, we decided to try it, hoping that it would be just as good.
The Chicken with Asaparagus soup and the Chicken feet dimsum came ahead of the other orders.

The pancit canton looked the same. Appetizing and mouth-watering.

The Yang Chow fried rice is a mainstay whenever we visit Chinese restaus... plus the butter garlic fried chicken.

... and the fried chicken wouldn't be complete without the kropek on the side.

The verdict: Mandarin Sky is Wah Yuen.. Wah Yuen is Mandarin Sky. New name but same great Chinese food! We are glad it is back.

KKK

From the interior decors to the menu to the name itself, KKK is definitely a Filipino restaurant.
The food servings were quite small. While there isn't really anything spectacular in the dishes we tried, overall taste wasn't bad at all. Nothing great, but not bad at all.
Pork sisig...
Lechon kawali...
Grilled tuna belly...

Laing a la KKK...
Dinner at a Filipino restaurant needs a refreshing drink and a dessert in-one in this Sago't Gulaman treat.

Gotti's

Gotti's is one of the newer restaurants in SM Bicutan. It is right where Pizzeria Pronto used to be. I got curious and asked our server what happened to Pizzeria Pronto and he said that Gotti's is Pizzeria Pronto. It is just a new name, a slight change in the interiors, but definitely the same good italian food that's affordable and delicious.

Gotti'sGotti's

They still have their famous " meryenda meals" that can stand as main meals already by themselves.
For Blogging

We loved Pizzeria Pronto and for sure, will will love Gotti's, too. Afterall, they're one and the same. What's in a name, anyway!
