Scents for Cents

You either like this store or you don't. It sells original imported perfumes by the milliliter. Yes, you can have your favorite scents in tiny little bottles, re-bottled for you.

There are various popular scents to choose from.

Each of the original perfumes above is opened and kept into these cork-stopped flasks and poured into tiny bottles depending on the amount bought.... anywhere from 3-10 ml.

But the store is not all about rebottling since all the available scents are also sold by the box.

One for me, and one for Mon. There is no harm in trying. Issey and Bulgari this week, another scent next. Hahaha....

Scents for Cent gives everyone a chance to enjoy different scents at pocket-friendly prices.

Sisig

One thing I like about getting well after being so sick, is the part where I get to eat what I want in order to gain back my strength. A delicious excuse to start indulging again, hahaha...

Anyway, one of the first few dishes I made was sisig. It wasn't anything fancy nor tedious, thank god for the ready made pack of Monterey which you can get in any grocery store's frozen goods section.

A pack would probably be good for 2-3 people.... hungry people. And that night, Mon and I were the "three" hungry people unmindful of the calories and sterols sisig brings. All we wanted was the taste of real good food that we were deprived of for almost a week. (Yes, Mon was sick too.)

I simply poured the whole pack into a deep pot and worked up the heat. I prefer using a Dutch oven to avoid the splatter.

Halfway through, I added one chopped white onion and continued cooking until I reached my desired doneness.

I transfered everything over to my preheated sizzling plate and cracked an egg on top of the heap. We watched the whole plate sizzle as it cooked the egg. After evenly mixing the egg thru the dish, a dash of calamansi compeleted my homemade sisig.

Happy To Be Well!

I am happy to be well. Lucky to be so. It was a long process of recuperation, difficult and tough, but with a lot of well wishes and prayers from family, friends and blogging friends, I was able to bounce back. I will be getting back to blogging real soon!

Getting Better, I Hope

I hope I am. I want to get well soon so I could get back to work... get back to taking photos... get back to surfing... and get back to blogging. I have been down with a very very nasty bout of diarrhea since Tuesday and I am trying my darnest best to get back on my feet. I miss everything!
