La Chinesca

If there is one thing that can make me want to blog again,  it has to be really good food.  And this trip we did to Aguirre Street,  in BF Homes, Paranaque proves it.

Trust these sauces to perk up your tacos to your desired heat!

Our his and hers:  Carne Asada  (hanging tender,  esquites, salsa fresca and Chinesca crema)

For round 2,  I had another order of Carne Asada,  while hubs got the fish,  Huachinango,  on the left,  (beer-battered fish,  cabbage,  salsa fresca, lime and xo crema)  and Carne Asada, on the right (round 2).

We had to try the shrimp taco,  Camaroncito  (shrimp,  chorizo de chino, potato, pickled onions, sesame leaf, mozzarella).

Each bite into each of those 6 inch soft tacos is truly a delight!  Flavor bursts into your mouth and you are treated to a real Mexican gustatory expedition!

It is probably the only dining place  along Aguirre st. that doesn't have a sign.  So,  be thankful that we have Google maps and Waze now.  Go work those fingertips of yours.  It is worth the exercise.  Oh,  and look for that door sticker that tells you you're at the right place.

Cheese Magic from Del Monte

Prepping this is now easy for me.   In the past,  making the gooey cheese part proved to be challenging for me.   So,  when I saw Del Monte's Cheese Magic on the shelf of groceries,  this dish immediately came to mind.  And I thought right!   Making my pan tossed broccoli with cheese is now as easy as 1-2-3.  Thank you,  Del Monte!
