Prawn Chips

 A friend recommended this when I couldn't find Besuto Prawn Crackers in grocery shelves anymore.   And I am glad I listened to her,  because this brand is really good!   Those kropeks  you love that come with your fried chicken in Chinese restaurants... these chips might actually  be the next best thing!

Bonchon's Crispy Shrimp Rice

I was ready to unlike this when I ordered,   thinking it might just be some ordinary tasting battered shrimps with glaze.  But once again,    I was wrong.   There was nothing ordinary about the taste.   The breading was crisp to the bite and not too thick.  The shrimps were fresh and sweet.  And the glaze had that distinct Bonchon flavor.  I will definitely order this again.

Yellow Cab Pizza's Four Seasons

Hubs and I like YCP's Four Seasons flavor because it is like having 4 pizzas in one.  

Adobo Connection: Revisited

Went back to Adobo Connection to try their other adobo variants on the menu:   The sweet and the dry.  Both were good,  though they wouldn't be something I couldn't whip up in my own kitchen myself.  But for quick adobo cravings,  these will do.

This lumpia meal is only P50.  Nothing quite extra special about it,  but,   hey,  for it's price,  I wouldn't complain.  I am not sure if this comes with a dipping sauce because there wasn't any in our take out bag.  It would be great with a sweet and sour dip.

Adobo Connection

We were finally able to try Adobo Connection at their Robinsons Magnolia branch last Sunday.  There was quite a number of adobo varieties to choose from and deciding which to try didn't come easy. 
I finally decided to have the Chicken Adobo sa Gata,  while hubs tried their Adobo Flakes.
My adobo sa gata was pretty good.  It was very creamy and the flavors blended really well.   The adobo flakes were good, too,  although I would have wanted it a tad saltier.  Will we come back for seconds?  I think so.  There are still several items on the menu that looked interesting.
