Jollibee Beef Strips

Blogged

Jollibee's Beef Strips is probably one of the very few cheaper meals one can get these days. For P39, it is pretty affordable.

The strips come with a cup of rice and a vegetable side dish. What is surprising is that, it actually does taste good! The meat is tender and very tasty with that sweet salty timpla that suits the Pinoy taste. The vegetable is not overdone. And everything is served warm.

I wish the serving was a little bigger, though, but for P39, I don't think I should complain.

Sugarhouse

Sugarhouse has been around for quite some time now but it was only about a month ago that I got to try it at the Greenhills branch.
Sugarhouse

The interiors... inviting, bright and cheerful.... comfortable and not cramped.

The three of us tried their famous ensaymada... it was good. But I still liked Mary Grace ensaymadas more.

My brother in law had the French Apple Pie which was alright, a bit sweet but alright.-y.

For drinks, we had the hot tea, the green mango juice and a cup of black coffee.

My order was their hot chocolate which was one of the best I have tried. Aaahh, so chocolatey, so thick and creamy... and foamy! That was one heavenly beverage for a chocoholic like me.

For the taste, a bit pricey, if you ask me. Will I be back? Hmmmm... not very soon, I think.

GoNuts Pizza

Yes, Go Nuts makes pizzas now... They are little round pizzas with a hole; could easily be mistaken for the usual sweet donut until you take a closer look.
GoNuts Pizza: blogged

I had to ask the store clerk how their donut pizzas taste since I was a bit worried that a sweet bread might not go well with pizza toppings. And he said that their pizzas are just shaped like donuts but are actually pizzas in every way... in every bite.

I bought mine frozen since I wanted to take photos of "before" and "after"... individually packed with the best before tag... they come in three varieties... Garlic and Cheese, Pepperoni and Barbecue.

I followed the instructions in the box on how to heat them and 3-5 minutes later, tadaaaa... Go Nuts Pizza! It was pretty good, actually! Just the right snack size and snack prize.

Crispy Pusit from SeaKid

Squid lovers will definitely like this one. I did. It is crunchy, sweet and very very tasty! A great snack, indeed.

Some would probably dip it in vinegar... some will even have it with rice... I enjoy it plain. As it is. Unfortunately, one bag is just not enough.

This would be a mainstay in my grocery list from now on.

KFC Meltz

Meltz is one of KFC's newest offers... the new snack.... portable, light and tasty.

KFC Meltz

A box costs P85. and has one stuffed tortilla bread sliced to make 4 pieces... quite pricey if you ask me for just 4 pieces.
KFC Meltz

It could also use more stuffing... so much different from the Meltz they show in their TV commercial.

Taste is not bad, though. But, overall, I am not a big fan.
