Red Ribbon: Not Just About Cakes

Red Ribbon has always been known as a bakeshop... a cake haven... a sweet shop. Yet I always find myself in the store, enjoying a meal that is anything but sweet! These are the dishes that make Red Ribbon more than just your neighborhood bakeshop.

.... their Cheesy Lasagna is meaty and saucy...

... their Dinuguan... the puto on the side will be missed. Last time I wanted this, I was told that their puto has been phased out.

Their newest addition is the Garlic Chicken with Mushrooms... rolled chicken fillet stuffed with minced mushrooms, breaded and fried to a crisp! A personal favorite!

Their Salisbury steak is always a delight... slathered with that special mushroom gravy, with corn and carrots on the side plus mashed potatoes...

Their Pan Grilled Chops is my favorite among them. The serving has gotten smaller and smaller, though, but the timpla that I have gotten to like has not changed.

G-Cube Laptop Sleeve

I had to look for that special sleeve for my new toy and I am glad that I found it! Fleece lined and meticulously crafted, I am pretty sure my new lappy feels safe and secure inside.

The large zipper at the top doesn't scratch the lappy at all. And handle fits my grip perfectly.

It is the perfect size for my netbook, not too big, and not too tight. Sliding the netbook inside and out is easy.

Yes, we do need to pamper our toys once in a while.

Karate Kid

I have seen Karate Kid branches around the Metro and I must say that the very reasonable prices on the menu are what encouraged me to give it a try.

It is still the usual self serve type of eatery; your average fastfood chain with a little dash of Japanese inspired interiors thru some cool dividers and neat wall decors.

And I must say I was pleasantly surprised with our food! The Gyudon and the Beef Teriyaki didn't disappoint! For the price, they tasted really really good.

Karate Kid is a place worth going back to. Budget and Tummy friendly!
