Tempura Japanese Grill

Blogged: TempuraBlogged: Tempura
The whole family loves Japanese food. And Tempura Grill Restauarant is probably the more affordable option in town without having to compromise the food, ambiance and service.

Tempura offers set meals for large groups of diners to make ordering easier. It was much less complicated to pick out the set meal available that day. Even Arc agrees!

And soon enough, all the glorious food began parading right before our eyes one by one.

The set meal also included a great dessert to delightfully end the feast... ice cream with coffee jelly and choco chips!

Frozen Dipped Banana

Who said that snacks can't be healthy, fun and chocolatey?
Frozen Dipped Banana
I saw this booth in SM and I got interested right away seeing that it had two of my favorite foodie things, chocolate and banana, so I ordered one right away.

Frozen Dipped Banana
The salesguy got a frozen banana from the freezer with a popsicle stick frozen with it, jutting out from one end to serve as its handle like a regular popsicle. There were several dips to choose from in different colors. Sorry, I forgot the other flavors... but I do remember there was a violet tub, so I suppose it was the Ube flavored dip. Naturally, I chose chocolate, me being a choco lover at birth.

Frozen Dipped Banana
You may also add other stuff for extra coating such as colored sprinkles and marshmallows... but I chose rice crispies to go with my dipped banana.

Eating the frozen dipped banana was fun. It was delicious, too. And very reasonably priced. I am pretty sure that kids will love this. And adults, too.

Bistro Mateo

I almost forgot to blog about this until I felt the beginnings of the heat of summer the past few days. It was the same hot summery heat of the afternoon in Tiendesitas in May last year hat led us to Bistro Mateo when everyone was craving for some frozen delights.

The interiors was very homey and Filipino-Spanish inspired.

Other cold desserts were their buco pandan and the one I had which I, unfortunately , forgot the name of but enjoyed enormously.
