7-Eleven's Cheesy Beef Sandwich

It is relatively cheap at 49php... served really hot... and  tastes pretty good,  actually.   I am glad I picked up one at 7-Eleven when I was hungrily looking for a good snack one afternoon.  

In fact,   I even had better luck with this than with Army Navy's too pricey Starvin' Sailor!   Beef is tender and well seasoned;   bread is soft, moist and whole wheat;    onions and cheese can't possibly make a 'which any less good.

I just wish it had more cheese and caramelized onions on top.   But for its price,   how can I complain.

I have been going back for this since that first time.   And I think I will keep on doing so.  7-Eleven does have a lot of good stuff in their stores.  If only you would be willing to try 'em.

Precious Minerals BB Cream

I made my first trip to Etude House more than a month ago and I don't regret it.   After reading raves about BB  creams  (Blemish Balm) and its benefits,    I decided to  try it,  too,   and see for myself.   

Among the brands,   EH seems to be the best choice for me  as far as compatibility with Asian skin is concerned since it is made in Korea,   and its being easily available in EH branches all over the Metro.

With its sunblocking effect,   anti-darkening power and antiwrinkle with whitening properties,    who can resist!  Finding the right shade for your skin color would be a little tricky,  though.   BB creams don't come in that many shades so be careful in choosing yours.

I love that EH BB cream comes in a pump dispenser that is easy to use,   has great consistency and smells so clean and fresh.    Does it do what it promises to do?   Let us just say that I have already  said my final goodbyes to my old powder and liquid foundations.   

Celeteque Toner and Moisturizer

Using the right kind of facial product for your skin type is,   I think,    one of the keys to having good skin that looks and feels well taken care of.   I am no guru when it comes to facial beauty products so I rely only on product reviews and raves from blogs and social forums I read online.   In fact,   I never really used toners and moisturizers before.   A cheap astringent was all I used.

But after having read the benefits of using toners and moisturizers for the face,    I am now convinced that I have been abusing and maltreating my skin for a long time.   And it is about time  I start making up to it.

Among the commercial/drugstore brands around,    the Celeteque line of products would have to be the more affordable one.    So I picked up their toner and moisturizer for my very oily skin.   

The toner is alcohol free,   unscented,   and it doesn't sting;  while the moisturizer is a bit thicker but water based so it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy and oilier than it already is.

My skin has since felt more supple,   not tight.     Applying make up is a breeze as it glides easily over a well toned and well moisturized face.    Plus,   I haven't had a major zit since I used these two.    I can feel my skin thanking me for it.   

Folgers Classic Roast

I drink coffee now.  I have to admit,   I never liked coffee.   It tasted   bitter,   had  a rancid aftertaste in the mouth,   and even gave  me stomach upset at times.   I never really enjoyed it much.  Until...

I tried making and cooking my own coffee!   It was always instant for me when I was younger.   Decaf or caffeinated,  they all tasted the same to  me.    But I have always wondered what people see in coffee that they keep asking for another cup after another cup.

I recently read up on coffee and found all of its beneficial properties.   As well as the right way to enjoy it.  And how to make that perfect cup.

And after getting convinced that coffee is,  in fact,  good for the body and tastes great,  I studied the 'art' of cooking coffee!     Starting off with a drip coffeemaker and a tub of Folgers I got at the local grocery here,   I made my first cup.   And it didn't take me more than one first sip to change my entire belief about it.   

Now,   I enjoy coffee twice a day.  It starts and ends it!  Yes,  I am a late bloomer!  :))
