This is what's been keeping me busy lately. I'm so into theme-making for my mobile phone that I have not had much time to blog nor flickr much the past few days. It surprised me how fun and enjoyable it can be! And it is not easy designing and planning every detail of even just one theme. I think the excitement is in seeing your final creation come to life after all that hard work.

Goya
I was at the grocery the other day and I saw a candy display at the end of one of the aisles with these bars. I thought they were from a new company, a new brand; they looked expensive and imported and the design was quite eye-catching.
Upon a closer look, I was pleasantly surpised to find out that the bars were Goya chocolates! Goya! I grew up with this brand! It has been a while since I last had any that I thought the company had closed down. You can just imagine my surpised to find Goya chocolates again, now in these pretty blue packets!
And I knew right there that this has to be included in my short grocery list that day. I just had to have a taste of Goya again. It came in two varieties, the Milk Chocolate and the Creamy White Chocolate. I got both.
... still tastes like the old Goya I knew. Only now, they are in prettier pillow packets and in bars. Really happy to see Goya again. Though I still would prefer them looking like those little chocolate eggs wrapped in very colorful tin foils I so preciously held in my tiny hands during my younger schooldays! Nostalgic!

Nokia Themes
Thanks to www.zedge.com, I am able to enjoy my new 6300 even more. For the past three years that I was using a Samsung phone, I had to content myself with merely changing the color scheme of my interface from pink to green to blue to orange. That was it. I couldn't download stuff into it.
I am glad I have switched back to Nokia because now, I can get to download as many free themes as I want from Zedge! And this one, is my present favorite, The Earth theme. (thanks to marcheto_a)
All the buttons come out with a new scheme, a new color, a new pattern and palette of colors, specially the Inbox and the Create Message windows. A totally new look for my phone!

Red Ribbon's Polvoron
I have always loved Goldilock's polvoron, specially the ones with pinipig. And when I saw that Red Ribbon makes them now, too, I immediately got curious and wanted to try.

Coke Zero
I am such a certified caffeine addict. Mon and I are. We consume about a dozen 1.5 liters of Coke Light in a week, really. And that is just for the two of us, mind you. We have it with breakfast, with lunch, with snacks, with dinner, and even before going to bed! Miss out on my dose in any of the above occasions and I would surely have a terrible headache a few hours after.
It was an instant love affair when we tried Coke Zero. True to its ads, it is really sugar free minus the bitter taste of Coke Lite! No after taste, no bitterness; just the sweet refreshing blend of cola and more cola.
Checking out the Nutrition Facts, contents are the same as Lite's, but the sugary sweet taste is what makes Zero my better choice.

The Old Spaghetti House
It was a very early dinner for a special day last February 24. It had been a very long day with our families so Mon and I just wanted to get away and be by ourselves yet be home early and rest.
We headed off to Festival Mall in Alabang to try The Old Spaghetti House. The place is just small but cozy. They have several tables outside for those who want to enjoy their food outdoors. I wouldn't wanna do that in a tropical country like ours, though.
My major blunder that night was my main course.... why didn't I order pasta! It is a pasta house afterall! Silly silly me... I ended up getting envious with Mon's Sun Dried Tomatoes and Pesto with Grilled Chicken strips. It was good. Really good. I had their Baked U.S. Spareribs which wasn't really bad, but i can't say it was anything out of the ordinary.
But the desserts truly saved the day for me! I had the Mud Pie and Mon had the Chocolate Truffle Pie. They were both heavenly! But I enjoyed my Mud Pie immensely. I think I will come back for seconds if only to have another slice of this.
