KFC's Chewy Cheeze

This is one of the new items on KFC's menu these days. Chewy Cheeze. A small box (P50) has 7 cheeseballs inside...

It is a little on the salty side for me. And the batch we got didn't seem to be freshly made.... the breading was a bit tough to the bite and the cheese was quite rubbery and not melted chewy the way I was expecting it.

I would give it another try but maybe in some other branch. And I would make sure that I get a newly fried batch next time.

The Big Blue Exhibition

This is a replica of a baby Blue Whale which was exhibited at Market Market last January thru the efforts of National Geographic. I was lucky to be walking around the mall when I saw this amazing sight before me.

It was enormous and beautiful!

I enjoyed taking photos of it from different angles and from different floors of the mall.

LCD screens and posters provided facts and trivia about the blue whale.

Artworks made by children who were inspired by the exhibit were likewise on display.

I consider myself lucky to have seen this. I hope a lot of people were as lucky as I was. It was very informative and well organized. And yes, it was for free.

Serye Revisited.... Again

After a successful first visit followed by another filling second visit to Serye, we were confident that a third visit would again be one memorable experience.

New items we tried were: Sweet and Sour Lapulapu.... Ampalaya con Gambas...

... Sizzling Sisig was a repeat but it still made us happy...

The Boneless Crispy Pata was the star of the day! Definitely an original from Serye, it is something everyone must try!

One need not ask if we enjoyed the meal.
