So Long, Major...

It was time to let go... time to end his pain... time to set him free. Though it hurt , it was the best thing to do for Major.

The eight years he spent with us is enough to last us with fond memories of laughter and cheers we had with him as part of our family, our home.

Thank you, Major, for touching our lives. You will never be forgotten, I promise. And one day, we will meet again... and on that day, we will cross the Rainbow Bridge together. So long... for now...

  1. That's how I felt when my little dog died of old age. I don't know if we will ever meet again and the same is true for all my departed better loved (you got to love people more than pets) ones.

I think I am going South and all of them and everyone else I can think of, are going north to Heaven up above LOL.

I am not worried, I was told there is more fun in Hell and if they are lying.......grrrr and burn, burn, burn.....LOL.

    I am just being silly.

  4. Gita,

Almost 2 years now, my two dogs passed away, one week apart. The Belgian Shepperd was 14, the Bulldog/Retriever mix was 16 and we miss them both. I miss them both waiting for me in the garage everyday, getting all excited as soon as they hear my bike! Sabi ko nga sa mga anak ko, "mabuti pa yung mga aso excited pag dumadating ako, with hugs and kisses pa!" but my kids just say "hi dad" and go on with their business. We have 3 dogs now, 2 in the house and 1 "vicious"(she thinks she's a pit bull!)who chooses the garage and backyard as her domain. I know how sad it is when they go away, but it is always their "walang kiyemen'g pagmamahal" that we can cling on for the rest of out lives. Smile! Major is in dog heaven now at saka dog angel na rin siya!

  5. Hay sad talaga when dogs die. My shihtzu died when I was in Finland because she got depressed without me. I cried. Hay.

    Hope you are okay.
