Highlands Steakhouse

Finally, we got to try Highlands Steakhouse at Mall of Asia. I have heard and read so much about this restaurant, reading more raves than rant, so I was excited to finally get the chance to judge it for myself.

There were so many choices on the menu that even Yoshiko had a tough time ordering.

... the bread came first... then the clam chowder (Mon's favorite)...
This, I loved! The dressing was creamy and with just the right tang I want in my Ceasar's salad. And the croutons are very tasty. I would have been happier if they used romaine lettuce though.

Then came our main orders... each of our plates was brimming with all these mouthwatering and scrumptous food!

To gravy or not to gravy was Yoshiko's dilemma. The steak was definitely tender and cooked just the way I wanted mine, medium-well. Juicy and not dry, sweet and flavorful. Now I know what the raves are all about.

It is one of the better steaks I have tried.

  5. Lately I noticed that I enjoy looking at the picture of a juicy steak more than a bikini clad beauty basking in the sun. Is there something wrong with me or am I just getting too old? LOL.

  9. Hi Gita!
My goodness, the steak really looks so good. Plus Mall of Asia is just about 5 minutes from where I live whenever I'm in Manila. Will surely try this.
    Thanks!
