Quickly

We have seen the emergence of a lot of pearl milk tea brands around the Metro these past few years. And this brand is one of the earliest I have seen.

It was not easy picking out one from the long list in their menu; quite confusing, I must say.

I got to watch how my cool drink was being prepared. The four canisters here are the base flavors, I think. They are the milk teas in finely crushed ice form. The add-ons (chocolate syrup, nata de coco, sago and sugar water or honey) are measured and blended in.

Pop goes your drink into this magic machine for that final touch... the mixing and the sealing. Stick in a big fat straw and off you go!

I wish I had tried this a lot sooner! It is refreshing, filling and entertaining to eat! Chocolate, try the chocolate. Worked best for me.

  3. I just had a Quickly moment recently, Gita.

Nung nasiraan yung kotse ng sis ko sa Festival Mall nung Thursday night, tinulungan ko sila para makatakbo yung car nila.

Hulaan mo anong thank-you gift nya? =)

  4. hay salamat, kagabi ko pa gusto mag comment dito kaya lang ayaw tanggapin ng blogger. :( Anyway, hay naku sis, favorite ko 'to dati noong college ako ngayon di ko na type. Dati kasi liquid pa 'to and they put less ice. Ngayon ginawa na nila frozen ice kaya puro yelo nalang naiinom mo. kainis! ang sasarap pa naman ng flavors nila. :) I and super love ko yung sago!

hindi kasi sa akin pwede masyado mayelo kasi napaka sensitive ng ngalangala ko. noong huli ako uminom nyan sa market!market namin binili kinagabihan ayun nilagnat ako at kinabukasan may tonsilitis ako.

  15. i love quickly!!! there used to be more branches than there are now, sigh... and the ones that do still exist often don't carry their milk teas. i love the almond milk tea... with the requisite sago, of course. :)

btw, ang gulo ko, sometimes i use my personal blogspot account to comment and sometimes i link to our other blog, southbound. :)

  16. i think there are more "mall booths" now than actual Quickly stores. baka nag cost-cut sila. i think it is a lot cheaper to run booths than shops/stores. you get a higher overhead with the latter diba.

anyway, i think id like calling you betty more than southbound... ;-)
    thanks for dropping by, betty!

  17. haha, oo nga that is my name. ;)
i just passed by the branch i get my quickly fix from, in bf resort... they've just renovated! and may sarili pa silang guard! it's heartening to know that they're still spending on improvements like that (although i'm not sure if the personal guard bodes well or ill). i hope they stick around in that area!
