Our early dinner at Tokyo Cafe last 14th was a combination of Valentine and early Birthday celebration. We chose the branch at Piazza in Venice, McKinley because the place is a lot less crowded than the regular malls in the metro.
The place was bright and roomy... great interiors (I love the hardwood floors)... and neat table setting...
(Loco Moco)
(Wafu Hamburg)
Their burger patties were very filling. A little on the bland side but I guess that is healthier when there is a lot less sodium.
(Mushroom and Garlic pizza)
Their pizza is divine! Now this is something I can rave about! The crust is so thin and crispy... the tomato paste is just the right sourness... the cheese is gooey chewy... and the mushrooms and garlic bits are generous in amount on each slice! I'd be back if only for their delicious pizza. I would love to try the other flavors on the menu. I would have to admit though that I do not quite get it why there is Tokyo in the name... The food we tried pretty much tasted like your regular American.
