Luk Yuen is also a great place for meryenda and brunches. We were able to try their dimsum treats and we all liked them.
Siopao Asado.... check!
Pork Siomai .... check!
Shrimp dumplings... double check!
The taro puff was something new for us and we liked it, too! Crisp taro coating on the outside and chewy pork filling inside!
Don't let these little jewels fool you. They are small to the sight but definitely heavy on the belly. We would have wanted to order more but our stomachs can only take so much.
those taro puffs look interesting!:)
ReplyDeleteyup, shalum. they're pretty good. twas our first time to try them that day. my sister in law was the one who introduced us to them.
ReplyDeletethis was some time last year pa, i have forgotten na how they taste. it is probably time to revisit. :)
my favorite is the Taro puff. Forever. That's the first Luk Yuen our family went to. :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's a Luk Yuen branch in Cash and Carry where I do my grocery, sana dun na lang pala ako kumain last time. I ate at Teriyaki Boy (to be on the safe side since I know the food) but ended up disappointed :(
ReplyDeleteNext time, Luk Yuen na lang! :)
Madz, aah, sa C&C ka pala nag grogrocery.. meron nga yata dun... try mo din next time. hope you like it.
