Ted's Batchoy

Whenever I have a craving for a hot filling and satisfying meal, be it lunch, dinner or just a snack, I go to Ted's Old Timer Lapaz Batchoy.

The menu offers a wide variety of choices... batchoy of all kinds... It used to be just batchoy and a few side dishes, but now has rice meals!

I usually order take out of their Special Batchoy packed neatly in a bowl, with the 'sabaw' separately bagged.

Their batchoy is one of the best I've tried... packed with all the sahog... the firm yellow noodles, the meat, those greens and those oh-so-good chicharon bits!

And when you finally add in that distinctly flavorful 'sabaw', you are treated to this deliciously and gastronimically satisfying trip.

  1. Ang daya, pinatakam mo ako in the middle of the day!!!

One time, my mom and I took a Negros Navigation trip from Iligan to Manila, there was a stopover at Iloilo. We went down the ship and looked for a batchoy place and came to Ted's. It was really good! Where is Ted's in Manila, btw? Thanks.

  7. Modified Batchoy na yan pero it looks sooo goooood! La Paz Batchoy used to be the best. Regional treasure ng mga Ilonggo ang Batchoy. My uncle used to own a Batchoy place on Gov. Forbes Ave. (Now Lacson Ave?) right across the UST Fine Arts and Architecture Building.(Collegio De Bellas Artes)

  14. Ted's have branches all over the Metro. There is one in MOA (beside pollo loco),one in SM Southmall, one in SM Fairview, one in Alimall, one in Festival Mall, and one in SM Dasmarinas. Ted's is considered to be the yardstick of standard sa Lapaz Batchoy and the prime innovator of the dish. Just check them out @ www.tedslapazbatchoy.com
