Choco Mallows

Choco Mallows by Fibisco has been in the market for decades. Newer and more expensive brands have come but Fibisco has managed to stay alive.

I still remember this as one of the more pricey treats in our school canteen, along with ChocNut, Growers, ang other Goya treats. This was the era when Sunta, Sarsi, Lem-O-Lime and Choco-vim were the more familiar brands of bottled drinks aside from Pepsi and Coca Cola.

This chocolate coated soft chewy treat always takes me back in time. Munching on one brings me back those fond memories of my youth.

Call me sentimental, but choco mallows, I love.

  1. Thanks for posting this, Gita.

I love, love Choco Mallows! ANd I love the fact that they havent changed the packaging. It's still in it's tacky, original form...the matingkad na yellow with matching retro font. Ha-ha..so seventies.

Same taste din..pero medyo mas maliit na yung size compared to how it was 20 or so, years ago.

  2. Favorite ko din to! Meron ngang binebenta sa may MRT and sa tiangge na cheaper unbranded mallows, pero iba pa rin ang lasa ng orig!

  4. Ay grabe, these are my favorites!

When I was pregnant with my second child, I would buy boxes of mallows and hide them in the closet. I was so maramot, I didn't want to share. Buti na lang hindi ako na-CS dahil lumaki ng husto ang baby! Hehehe

  9. Along with ChocNuts, Choco Mallows is one of my big, big favorites. Each time I open a box, they're gone in 30 minutes. Ang hirap mag control if i have these before me, sira agad ang diet!
