Chicken Series Part II: Inasal Bacolod Chicken

After our Peri Peri Chicken experience, I just knew we had to go native again. I suddenly had the craving for that inasal flavor and goodness in our chicken.

Inasal Bacolod Chicken at SM Bicutan is the inasal chicken nearest us and luckily, it didn't disappoint. The interiors are cozy enough and bright.

Service is fast and courteous. The dishes are reasonably priced.

These help make you enjoy your dish even more.

Pucchi enjoyed playing hide and seek for a while while our food was being prepared.

This is our favorite order: Pecho and garlic rice. Just perfect.

Inasal Chicken Bacolod is probably the next best to the original.

  1. I like the paa. Nakakamiss yan. I don't really like adding salt to taste but somehow pag BCI, the condiments are a MUST. Did you try Ysabella's chicken? I did. I didn't like it as much.

  2. em dy, pa din ang fave ko dati until my hubby introduced me to pecho... it is actually more malaman and though a bit dry, mas well cooked thru ang pecho. healthier daw o, kasi white meat kuno. ;-)
havent tried the Ysabella's... saw this at Greenhills. next time siguro...

  3. I love Chicken Inasal. There's something satisfying about biting into chicken that's slathered with vinegar and soy sauce.

Demn. I want some now *sobs*

  4. kaoko, dont forget the calamansi and sili. ;-) my husband has that great talent of brewing the best sawsawan... ;-)

  5. Pucchi!!! =)
    I love this post.

  6. ruy, hahaha.. i knew you'd find her! next time, she will be easier to spot, promise. thanks for dropping by... ;-)

  7. I may be biased, Gita, but I think that when it comes to native chicken barbecue, nothing beats the one that comes from or is done Bacolod-style. :)

I am not really a chicken lover but once in a while, I must get my fill of pecho and garlic rice.

    Happy holidays!

  8. bugsybee, i agree. perfect for the pinoy taste diba...

  9. youre right nothing comes close to bacolod style grilled chicken..
theres a sister branch in santana grove near Shopwise Sucat owned by her brother..hmmm shall i call it brother branch? :)
same taste and service because theyre from the same family..
    the best!..

  10. marbes, yea, we see this branch whenever we pass by sucat in going home... but we have yet to try it. will do soon, for sure. ;-)
